Luke - 4 Months Old!!

Luke is four months old today!! I can not believe it has already been four months, time is going by so fast. We are very blessed to have such a calm and relaxed baby. He has made the transition from a one to two child household very easy!

Luke has been growing super fast since he was born! According to our scale he weighs just under 17 pounds! We go to the doctor on Thursday so I'll post his "stats" then. I need to bring up his 6-9 month clothing because he is fast growing out of his 3-6 month clothing that he has been in for the past two months. This is the time when Cole slowed down growing so we'll see if Luke does the samething or not.

Luke eats 6oz. of formula every three hours. He eats about 5 bottles every day so about 30oz. per day. He usuallly goes to bed between 8-9pm with his last bottle somewhere between 7-8pm. He is such an excellent sleeper at night! Once he's down for the night we usually don't hear from him again until the morning. He tends to wake up around 6:30am most mornings. We probably won't start any cereal or baby food until he's closer to 6 months since he seems to be doing just fine with the formula.

He's slowly getting into a nap pattern during the day. He usually takes a short nap about an hour to hour and a half after he wakes up. Usually its just long enough for me to take a shower and blow dry my hair. Then he generally takes two more naps during the day which are both longer than his early morning nap. Hopefully this summer I can work on trying to get him to a morning and afternoon nap schedule but we'll see how it goes.

Luke loves to hang out in his bouncy seat and under his activity mat! He has been showing signs of working on rolling over for a few weeks now. He is able to get onto his side from his back but hasn't yet gone all the way over to his stomach. He is good at rolling onto both his right and left side. I imagine its only a matter of time before he's able to get all the way over!

Luke has really become a "talker" lately! He's constantly making cute baby noises! He also gives off lots of smiles which just melt your heart!
