Last Day in NYC

We started the day by all going to brunch around 11am. Matt went to the Croation Catholic Church that is right next door to my Dad and Sue's apartment. For the third year in a row he has been to church and back within a half hour! He goes to the English service which is very short so they can get ready for the Croation service. He said it was first communion this morning so there were families coming during the mass he was at to get a spot for the next mass.

Cole's day did start a little earlier than the 11am brunch. He and my Dad went to a playground twice this morning to play before we all ventured out. He loved it!

Then it was off to breakfast. After that we came back to the apartment. Matt took a nap while Sue took care of Luke for us so that my Dad, Cole and I could go out for a while. We went looking for some clothes for me but no luck. Cole fell a sleep on the walk and slept the entire time we were in the store trying on clothes.

Then we went to the four story Toys R Us to look around. It was HUGE! They have a really cool ferris wheel in the middle of the store that we got to ride. Cole loved it!! It was only a little scary when it stopped at the top while it loaded more people although Cole didn't seem to mind.

Now we are just spending the rest of the evening hanging out inside. Cole got several toys from my Dad and Sue (mega blocks, a ball, football and several trucks) so he's got TONS to play with! He and my Dad go out and run and play in the hallway and he loves it!

Luke right now is laying on the floor doing his wiggling! He spends tons of time up on both of his sides so I'm sure it won't be too long until he has figured out how to flip over from his back to his front!
