On Saturday we went to Shedds Aquarium since the weather was a bit yucky outside (cold and rainy). It was a really cool place! I was expecting some fish behind glass but it was so much more!
We got to view a short 4-d film of Happy Feet (it was about 12 minutes long). Cole loved it but Luke was not really a big fan. Some of the 4-d effects were bubbles, vibrating seats and water squirting. The water squirting part was what freaked Luke out.
Then we went to see another show but it was a bit boring. The boys enjoyed it. They were showing how they train beluga whales and river dolphins. Here's a picture of the boys with Matt watching the show.
Then we just wandered around for a while looking at all of the displays. There was a small play area with a submarine that the kids could play in.
This is what Cole tends to do when asked to take a picture with his brother - put him in a chokehold to keep him still.
Cole was playing with a canoe in one of the many different viewing areas.
Luke wandering by an exhibit - he loves to be down walking and thanks to the monkey on his back he can be without us worrying about losing him.
