Halloween Party 2010

We had our 2nd Halloween party on this year! It was on Saturday at 2pm. What an amazing afternoon we had! The weather was absolutely perfect - which was good because all of the activities I planned were outside. We rented a bounce house which was a huge hit! The kids (of all ages) loved playing in it.




We also had a ghost hunt! I wrapped tootsie pops & blow pops with tissue paper and tied them with black ribbon, and they were ready to go. There were probably about 100 ghosts hiding out in the yard. There were also special items (treat bags filled with tissue paper) to hunt for. Each kid could get one special item and turn it in for a prize.



We also had a pinata - a huge ghost filled with tons of candy! Luke even took a turn this year! Almost through the first round of hitting the pinata fell (because it was so heavy) but didn't break. Then the men worked on getting the pinata hooked back up so the kids could go at it again - Matt loved this part! Finally it was time for round two and when the pinata finally broke there was candy everywhere!






We also had an arts and craft table in the garage plus tons of food in the house. All of the desserts were made by my Mom and were amazing once again!
