Preschool Halloween Party

Cole had a big day today at preschool. They started off the day going trick-or-treating around the school and showing off their Halloween costumes to the elementary kids. Then it was field day at their school so they went outside for the field day activities. For lunch they had pizza in the shape of a pumpkin. After nap time it was back in their costumes to watch the big kids do their Halloween costume parade. I was able to leave work a little early so I could come to Cole's Halloween party. I arrived just as the kids were getting to watch the big kids parade. I stayed back to help his teacher, Mrs. Bishop, set up the room for the party.

She had several areas set up for the kids and there were tons of yummy snacks. At one station the kids could decorate a haunted house themed picture using a page of stickers. Cole put about four stickers on his sheet and was done. He ended up finishing it when he got home. There was also a station to make a Halloween necklace, put together a small monster (out of foam), and a foam Halloween picture frame (there were pictures of the kids with their pumpkins to go in the frames).

It was so much fun to be up at Cole's school for his Halloween festivities!

One of the stations was a play on bobbing for apples. The kids had to eat the doughnut without using their hands. It was super cute to watch!
