We celebrated Luke's first Thanksgiving yesterday at our house with the Cole/Fechter family. Matt's parents and aunt were also able to join so that was nice. We did miss my Dad and Sue who stayed in NYC this year. Hopefully they'll be in next year to join us. We also missed my sister, Kerry, who is in England visiting a friend. Hopefully she'll decide to stay state side next year and join us as well.
Cole enjoyed running around playing with Carter, Christopher and Maddie. It is so nice that some of my cousins have little ones as well for him to play with. Luke also enjoyed hanging out with the big kids. Cole was so excited to have guests coming to his house and for the turkey dinner. My Mom made the turkey and he told her the other day (she has been watching the boys while Kerry is in England) that she was able to make the turkey b/c she was fast enough to catch one. I on the other hand was apparently not fast enough since I wasn't making one. Cole was an excellent helper while I was preparring the pies. He loves to help cook!
