Grant's Farm

The boys and I went to Grant's Farm today with my sister, brother and their friend (Matt). We decided to go since it was going to be a nice cool day and it was! It only reached the low/mid 70's which is my kind of weather.

Its always nice at Grant's Farm because you start off with a tram ride where you get to see animals along the way. Then Cole fed the goats with the help of Uncle Jake. Once again he barley flinched when in with the goats. Jake did pick him up a few times when several goats started to bother him all at once.





After the goats Cole and I rode the carousel while the others watched Luke. Then it was off to see more elephants - huge turtles, parrots, lemurs, bald eagles, elephants, kangaroos and more! Then we visited the area that gives you free beer - which is one of the main reasons that Matt and Jake joined us! After a quick snack we went and saw the elephant show - which wasn't that interesting. The one interesting part was when the elephant went the bathroom half way through the show. Let me tell you, elephants can pee a ton when they have to go! Unfortunately he also pooped as well and it was gross!

Then it was back on the tram to head on home. We had a wonderful time with my siblings and Matt! Tomorrow it is off to the Magic House with my friend Jennifer from work and her two boys.
