My Little Graduate

Cole has his preschool graduation last week (Tuesday, June 7)!  The first half was the big end of the year show and was a Laua theme.  Cole was a surfer and wore a swim suit and white tank under shirt.  He looked so cute!  He and another little boy, Liam, were the first to go in the show.  I was so impressed with all the confidence Cole had as he came out on stage for his part.  He was right on cue with the music and had so much energy!  There were other parts including hula dancer, flame throwers and volleyball players. 

After the show there was a slide show of all the preschool kids for the parents while the kids put on their graduation robes.  Every picture Cole was in when he was working on something his tongue was out.  He does that any time he is concentrating.

Cole walked proudly into the gym with his graduation robe and purple sash (the color of the school).  All the kids (ages 3-5) were so cute!  The ones moving on to kindergarten had purple sashes.  Here is a picture of Cole as he is getting ready to sit on stage.

Cole was the first one from his class called up to get his graduation certificate.  When asked what he wanted to be when he grew up he proudly and confidently said, "a teacher."  He had mentioned the other day he wanted to be a teacher.  Poor Matt thought he was going to say an engineer since that is what he wanted to be when he started preschool.

So now Cole is hanging out with me and Luke this summer before kindergarten starts (which is August 8 and will be here before we know it!).
