Friday Night Fun

We started our 4th of July weekend by taking Cole to the St. Charles carnival rides on the river front. They have a big fair on the 3rd & 4th but on the 2nd they only had their carnival rides open. Cole loves to ride on rides and the weather was so nice that we just couldn't resist taking him. It was me, Matt, Cole and Kerry. Luke hung out at my Mom's house since he's too little to ride the rides. They had a special going on where you could get a wristband which gave you unlimited rides for $15. Kerry and Cole both got one. We started out with dinner at Trailhead and then spent several hours at the rides. It is just so much fun to see Cole so excited and full of energy. They had some carnival games set up and of course he wanted to play some. We kept putting it off but eventually let him play one. For $5 he got to fish for three fish and won a prize. He was thrilled, us not so much. That was his one and only game since they were so expensive! Here are some pictures from before we left for the night.
