My Dad came in this weekend from NYC for a visit and for Cole's birthday party!! We got to spend tons of time with him so it was really nice for me and the boys. He visited on Thursday night with Granny after his plane got it. They came over to the house and just hung out with the boys. Then on Friday he came over around 10:30am and stayed most of the day. We started off by going to McDonald's for lunch and letting the boys play in the play area. We had wanted to go to the park but unfortunately the weather wasn't nice enough. Then we took Cole to preschool and Dad got to see where Cole goes three days a week.
After we dropped Cole off to preschool it was time to run errands to prepare for the birthday party on Saturday. We went to SAMS Club and WalMart. Kerry met us at Sams Club. Luke did great on all the errands. He was a little timid of Papa at first but warmed up quickly.
Cole opened his presents from Papa and Sue on Friday so they didn't get lost in all the presents he got on Saturday. Cole got a pair of red and blue crocs, a Spiderman plate, bowl and cup set and a pillow pet (which hasn't arrived yet).
Then we got to spend lots of time with Dad on Saturday at Cole's party!! It was great!
