Saturday was our annual Halloween party!! Can't believe this was our fourth party! I loved having the party at our new house - plenty of space for the 60 plus adults/kids that came! The weather for the party was just about perfect. It was in the low 50s and sunny. We were so excited to have so many of our family members and friends able to attend to share in the afternoon with us!
Here is the dessert table - all made by my Mom! She did an amazing job this year (as always). Luke helped her finish many of the desserts Saturday morning and he loved explaining what he helped with (like putting the bugs and snacks (worms) in the dirt cups). Here is the list of yummy treats we got this year: oreo mud dirt cups, chocolate covered pretzels, candy cane sugar cookies, witch's brooms (peanut butter cup with a pretzel), mummy cupcakes, rice krispie treat ghosts and mini yellow cupcakes looking like pumpkins.
One of our indoor activities this year was the cupcake decorating table. We had tons of chocolate and vanilla cupcakes ready to be iced and then decorated.
Lots of cupcake boxes to take the decorated ones home in!
Downstairs we had tables set up with coloring pages and other crafts.
Matt helped me make two bean bag tosses out of plywood to add to our Halloween collection! Linda made some bean bags for us so the kids could use them with the cut outs.
The bounce house fit perfectly in our new backyard and the kids loved it!
We also had Spunky Beans, the balloon twister, at the party for the second year in a row. She is a huge hit with the kids! Here are some of the boys lined up waiting to get their creation made!
Cole went with an Angry Bird shooter.
Luke got a baseball set - the ball dangles in front of his face and he hits it with the bat - lots of entertainment for him!
