All four of us went to the pumpkin patch (Rombachs) today with my Mom. We tried to go yesterday so Kerry could join us but it was too wet and rainy. Today's weather was much better but it was still a bit wet. During the weekdays there isn't all of the activities and such they have on the weekends but there are also no crowds so that's nice.
They have TONS of pumpkins laid out to look at. They are pretty expensive compared to most places but I love the atmosphere of the place so that's why we keep going back. Its a great place to take lots of cute photos of the kids with pumpkins.
There is an old tractor that Cole loves to play on. He spent quite a bit of time on it, with a very serious look on his face. He was driving the tractor out to the field he said.
Cole also spent lots of time playing on the old fire truck. He loves to pretend that he's driving it!
There are a few animals (chickens, goat, pig & a calf) to look at which Cole enjoys. It was cute watching Cole pick out a pumpkin. A couple of times when we were taking pictures of Luke, Cole would go off and start rolling a pumpkin towards us. It was cute!
Luke was his happy self as we walked around the pumpkin patch trying to get some cute photos of him. When we placed him anywhere near the pumpkins he would get all excited! He was totally into touching the pumpkins so it was hard to get a good picture of him since he was always looking at the pumpkins.
We got to take some pictures in front of the big mound of pumpkins. We got a great family picture!
We also got some good photos of the boys in the wagons they have to put your pumpkins in.
