So, Cole had his first dentist appointment today! Let's just say that hopefully when we go back in 6 months or so he'll let them do more than he did today. He wasn't too nervous to go (that will probably happen next time) but didn't last long in the chair. I sat in the chair and then he sat in my lap. The hygenists was very nice and showed Cole all of her tools before she tried to use them. She tried to polish his teeth and was able to do it for a minute or so but that was it. He didn't like the noise he said. We tried a few more times but he kept saying he was done and turning away. So we stopped and waited for the dentist. It took some coaxing to get him to open his mouth so she could look at his teeth but he did for a short time. Just enough for her to get a quick glance and see if there were any major issues. She said everything looked good (from what she could see) and we should try again in 6 months.
So for now we are supposed to work on brushing twice a day and getting him to let us brush his teeth more.
