As Spring pushes closer to Summer it is time again for swim lessons. Since Luke is now three it is his turn for swim lessons! He started on Tuesday night and will go twice a week for four weeks. Each lesson is 35 minutes which is a perfect amount of time for a bunch of three year olds. There are six kids in his lesson, three girls and three boys. The kids all look right around three just like Luke.
Luke had his second lesson tonight and is doing awesome! He has been super excited to get in the water both times, no hesitation. He does an especially good job when kicking on his back.
I signed Cole up last week for his second year of summer swim team. I can't wait to watch him swim again. Cole was back in the water again tonight for some private swim lessons to get him ready for this summer. He did an amazing job! It was like he'd never left the water. Backstroke still seems to be his best stroke and comes pretty natural to him. He needs to work a bit on his arms, keeping them closer to his ears and his kicking but looks pretty good for being out of the water since August. His freestyle needs some work so hopefully his instructor can work on that with him. I'd love to see him learn how to breath to his side rather than just lifting his head to breath.
My two favorite little boys ready for their swim lessons tonight!
