Ella turned 2 months old on Friday! We are so blessed to have her in our lives, she is just amazing. She had her two month doctor appointment today. Here are here "stats":
-Weight: 10 pounds 8.5 ounces (27%)
-Height: 22 inches (26%)
Ella has gained 3 pounds, 8.5 ounces and grew 2 inches in the past two months. She got two shots and one oral vacinne. Man did she get red in the face when she got those shots!
Lately Ella has started to smile and giggle as well as make cooing noises. She is also really starting to focus on us when we talk to her and follow us with her eyes. She is drinking 4oz. bottles about every 3-4 hours. We switched her over to 4oz. bottles around 6 weeks old. Her sleeping patterns are really good these days. At this time she is sleeping quite a bit during the day and luckly still at night. She usually is down by 9-10pm and then has been getting up around 4:30-5:30am. If I'm lucky she gets up right around 5am and my wonderful husband (who is already up getting ready for work) gets up with her. Then Ella goes back down and sleeps for another two to three hours. At night she is getting pretty good at falling a sleep on her own in her bassinet. We are planning to transfer her to her room/crib sometime this weekend.
